Kiki Abbott Moore

Art Therapist, Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying)

Kiki brings a deeply integrative and creative approach to therapy, shaped by her background in art therapy and psychotherapy. She works with children, teens, adults, and couples who may struggle to put their experiences into words, offering multiple ways to explore emotions, relationships, and inner experiences. While Kiki’s background and training are applicable to clients of all ages, she highly values her work with individual adults. She believes healing doesn’t always happen through talking alone — and that creativity, curiosity, and connection can open meaningful pathways to change.

Approach & Areas of Focus

Kiki’s work is grounded in trauma-informed, client-centred practice, with a strong emphasis on communication, emotional expression, and relational understanding. Her interdisciplinary training allows her to support clients who feel stuck, misunderstood, or overwhelmed — particularly when traditional talk therapy hasn’t felt like the right fit.

She thoughtfully integrates sand tray and art therapy, along with evidence-based modalities including Internal Family Systems (IFS), Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Gottman Couples Therapy. Sessions are adapted to each client’s needs, preferences, and developmental stage.

Her work often supports clients with:

  • Anxiety and emotional regulation

  • Communication challenges and relational patterns

  • Self-esteem and identity exploration

  • Stress and life transitions

  • Addiction and substance use

  • Grief and loss

  • Women’s health

  • Gender affirming voice work

  • Navigating emotions through creative expression

Training & Experience

Kiki is a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying), Art Therapist and has valuable experience from her former career in speech-language pathology. This unique combination informs her holistic, flexible approach to care and her ability to support clients across the lifespan in ways that feel accessible and engaging.
