Courtney James Therapy is proud to offer an annual Mental Health Scholarship to support graduating students pursuing post-secondary education in psychology or social work.

This scholarship reflects our commitment to community care, access, and the future of mental health support.

Scholarship details

Award: $1,000

  1. Eligibility: Graduating high school students

  2. Field of Study: Psychology or Social Work

  3. Location: North Grenville (Kemptville & surrounding area)

  4. Status: Applications are currently open for the 2026–2027 academic year

We believe mental health care starts long before someone enters the therapy room. By supporting students who are passionate about mental health, we aim to invest in the future of compassionate, thoughtful, and ethical care — both locally and beyond.

This scholarship is one small way we give back to the community that continues to trust and support our work.

Eligibility criteria

Applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • Graduating from high school in 2026

  • Accepted into an undergraduate Psychology or Social Work program

  • Reside in North Grenville (Kemptville or surrounding area)

  • Demonstrate an interest in mental health, community care, or helping professions

How to apply

Eligible students are invited to complete a short application outlining their interest in mental health and their plans for post-secondary study.

The application includes:

  • Basic academic and contact information

  • Confirmation of post-secondary acceptance

  • A brief written response sharing your interest in mental health or helping professions

Applications for the 2026-27 year are now open. Applications close May 31, 2026.
